I'm Martin Rügner, a freelance photographer based in Bavaria/Germany.

Back in the analog era, my love for nature and exploration led to a passion for photography. In 1998 I made my hobby my job and I have been working professionally for international imaging agencies since then.

I focus on scenery shots, nature, animals and travel themes, but also on architecture and urban settings. Next to that, I work as a sports photographer for a daily newspaper.

My images are regularly published in magazines, book covers, calendars, digital media and licensed to numerous private and commercial clients worldwide.
